Strolled through SoHo after class on my way to the Upper West Side, shooting with my trusty Nikon d700, a 2008 classic known as “The Legend.” It’s hefty, nearly 3 pounds, but built like a tank and such a joy to use. The light this time of year never fails to pull me in.
